Landlord reviews for Jim Claire Shaw in Long Ashton

We have been living at 135 Long Ashton for the last year and couldn’t have asked for better landlords or house. The house is spacious in an incredible location, I especially love how close we are to lots of walk and run route. We have had NO issues with damp or mould which we had been concerned about given another review. Jim and Claire have been fantastic landlords, we really couldn’t have asked for better.
We are only moving to relocate nearer to work!

We had a bad experience with these landlords. Initially they verbally offered to pay a contribution to our heating for the damp, then in writing they denied this and tried to blame us for causing the damp, even though we spoke to them about one of the damp patches on the day we moved in. They threatened to send their solicitors after us but they refused to show the damp survey to anyone and got really cagey whenever it was brought up. The damp surveyor told us in person that the damp was an historic and long-standing issue in the property. However, the landlords constantly tried to blame us for causing the damp. They were a very wealthy pair and the way they treated us was intimidating and unprofessional.
